Stonehaven Tolbooth
The oldest surviving building in Stonehaven and certainly has provided value for money. Built at the end of the sixteenth century as a storehouse for Dunnottar it was converted to a courthouse and prison in 1600.It resumed as a storehouse after 1767 and fell into disrepair until resurrected as a museum on its lower level with a restaurant on its upper.
