Lower Glen Clova
Looking across the lower part of Glen Clova from the western loop of the B955. The flat valley floor and moraines lower down suggest that this may once have been a glacial lake - now good grazing land. The Corbett of Ben Tirran in the distance.

Whitehillocks Farm, Glen Clova and surrounding terrain
Whitehillocks is on the east road of the glen, and the photograph was taken from the west road of the glen, a short distance south of Braeminzion.

Braeminzion
Braeminzion is one of the few farms in the glen which are situated on the low ground beside the River South Esk. The two craggy corries on the skyline are the ones above Loch Brandy on the left and Loch Wharral on the right.

Braeminzion and Whitehillocks
Braeminzion is the nearer farm, on the low ground by the river, and Whitehillocks is sheltered by the blocks of trees on the slopes on the far side. The summit on the skyline is Tops of Fichell (578 metres) in NO3868.

This house was once the Wateresk School and schoolhouse. On the distant skyline are the cliffs above Loch Wharral, with Ben Tirran to the right.
