TQ2590 : Finchley Central Station

taken 15 years ago, near to Finchley, Barnet, England

Finchley Central Station
Finchley Central Station
The main station buildings on the Southbound platform. The original buildings are in the centre of the photo. The building on the right as a more recent addition and an effort has been made to match the brick work. Sadly, no effort was made to do the same when a lift was provided on the island platform. Instead, grey stone cladding was used, totally out of keeping with the rest of the station - see TQ2590 : Finchley Central Station.
