SO7637 : Iron Age Defences on Hollybush Hill

Iron Age Defences on Hollybush Hill
Iron Age Defences on Hollybush Hill
Taken on the embankment looking north. When constructed this would have been lined with imported limestone as Malvern granite is poor building material. Pieces of flat sedimentary limestone can still be found which, for many decades prior to archaeological excavations, used to be an unexplained geological curiosity. To the right is a ditch and another embankment.
