Chatsworth House - Rectangular lake and the Emperor Fountain.
Joseph Paxton was the head gardener at Chatsworth for more than 30 years, and he created the Emperor Fountain, the jet of which can rise to over 290 feet, in 1843. The fountain was built in anticipation of a visit from Tsar Nicholas of Russia but the visit never happened.

This is the tallest jet of water in the UK, remarkably being powered only by the forces of nature - that of gravity.
