TQ0932 : Arun Double Bridge

taken 15 years ago, near to Bucks Green, West Sussex, England

Arun Double Bridge
Arun Double Bridge
This double bridge is on the logo of the Downslink path. The bridge used to carry the Guildford-Horsham railway line. The line had to be raised on a higher embankment and the box girder bridge was built above the earlier brick bridge to lessen the gradient from 1:80 to 1:130.
