TQ2913 :: The Noor (1)

Taken 12 years ago by Simon Carey near Pyecombe, West Sussex, England

The Noor (1) by Simon Carey
The Noor (1)

The name of the field according to the 1839 tithe map. The name is still used for the area today though spelt as Nore. Rockrose is the building in the distance from which I could clearly hear Michael Jackson's 'What about us' song being played at full volume by somebody working in the stables. Beyond are the Jack and Jill windmills with the view out onto the Weald to the left.
