Carrington Street: former Midland Railway Goods Offices

This building originally housed the agents and clerks responsible for railway goods operations on the Midland lines in the Nottingham area. Until quite recently it was the Nottingham Coroner's Court. Behind it the modern Magistrates' Courts occupy the site - between the railway and the canal - of the huge railway goods and grain warehouse. SK5739 : Nottingham Canal and Magistrates' Courts shows the courts from the canal side.
