There are four main pools in Baggeridge Country Park. From the north, these are the Upper and Lower Wishing Pools, Spring Pool, and Island Pool. There are a few smaller ones. Another two large pools, Rock Pool and Great Pool are below Island Pool (behind the camera) in the adjacent Himley Park. All were originally landscaped by Capability Brown when the park was part of the Earl of Dudley's Himley estate.
Baggeridge Country Park

Baggeridge Country Park is an attractive area of countryside near Dudley and Wolverhampton. It was formerly the Baggeridge Colliery. Together with part of the original Himley Estate of the Earls of Dudley, the whole site has been transformed into 150 acres of attractive country park, including woodland, lakes, and open grassed areas. It has waymarked walks, cycle trails, and enclosed children's play areas. It is very popular with dog walkers.
