TQ4033 : Pond in the Wadhurst Clay

taken 17 years ago, 3 km from Forest Row, East Sussex, England

Pond in the Wadhurst Clay
Pond in the Wadhurst Clay
An old ironstone pit, apparently fairly recently converted into a pond, if the maps are to be believed. There was a large population of ducks, mostly hiding behind the island.
