Brighton Main Line

The Brighton Main Line opened in 1841. It operates between London (London Bridge and Victoria) and Brighton, it is 50 miles long. Today it is a very busy line as it includes trains to Gatwick Airport.

Redhill Station

Redhill Station is an important railway junction. The North Downs line and the Redhill to Tonbridge line diverge off the Brighton Main line just south of the station. The station opened in 1841 as Redhill and Reigate Road Station. It has changed names several times, becoming Redhill Station in 1929.
Today many trains stop here and some terminate here.
