Storm at Dawlish station by Derek Harper
Storm at Dawlish station

Waves batter the resort and its station. The railings along the platform are being steadily removed, though there's worse damage a little to the left - see SX9676 : Waves damaging platform, Dawlish station. And 400 metres to the northeast, the seawall has gone and the railway line is hanging in mid-air, although unfortunately I didn't capture that on this visit.
