Demolition of Kelsall House, Otley Road

Until a few years ago this area was blighted by this type of housing. Built in the 1960s after slum clearance, there were about 16 blocks, many of which had been empty for several years. All were demolished and replaced mainly by family size houses with gardens, except Kelsall House which was refurbished and survived for another 2 or 3 years. However in December 2011 it was demolished. At the time of writing, the land is still unused.
