Sherborne House, Basingstoke by Rob Farrow
Sherborne House, Basingstoke

This house was formerly the residence of Charles Steevens, a local manufacturer of agricultural and road building machinery who had it built in the late C19th. A date in bricks in the surrounding wall says 1877 which is pretty much contemporary with the date of this house. It has had several uses over the years but has recently been converted into seven apartments.
