taken 8 years ago, near to Flurrybridge, Co Armagh, Northern Ireland

Former ROI Customs Base on the Dublin Road
Dublin Road - then the main link between Belfast and Dublin - was a Concession Road i.e. a road along which the Border between the two jurisdictions could be crossed legally. ROI and UK customs facilities were sited on either side of the border and at times the process of crossing the border could take a couple of hours. With Brexit, it is possible that such bases could well be reactivated.
