taken 7 years ago, near to Abbots Leigh, North Somerset, England

Beech avenue, Leigh Woods
Beech avenue, Leigh Woods
This formed the original main drive to Leigh Court from at least 1814, but full access to the house was disused by the mid to late 20th century. The southern end with its avenue of beech trees now provides access to the main car parking area for Leigh Woods Nature Reserve. It is included in the Grade II Listed park surrounding Leigh Court.
