A tricky problem by Gordon Hatton
A tricky problem

The footpath to the south east of Forest in Teesdale school reaches a stone wall at the end of a nettle infested lane. Once over the rather unstable stone step stile, one must then negotiate this timber barrier, the purpose of which is a mystery, unless it is there simply to encourage limbo dancing moves under the bars. From experience, County Durham footpaths have more than their fair share of problems.
