Before the Garden Festival
Before the Garden Festival
The site of the 1988 Glasgow Garden Festival under construction in early 1987. It is hard to believe that this site would attract 4.3 million visitors the following year!

Across the River Clyde is the Category A listed Finnieston Crane [LinkExternal link], while on this side of the river, on the right, part of the Category A listed former Prince's Dock hydraulic power station [LinkExternal link] can be seen.
