Marsh marigold at Cronkley Farm by Trevor Littlewood
Marsh marigold at Cronkley Farm

In mid-May the damp valley bottom fields of Teesdale might be expected to be bright yellow with densely flowering marsh marigold. May 2018 is different with a delayed spring meaning there's little colour below but these scattered plants close to the farm at Cronkley are putting on something of a show. Three Pikes is the central hill with Fendrith Hill rising to the right.
