SH7879 :: Quarry view

Quarry view
A view out from the quarry feature below Deganwy Castle (see SH7879 : Cliff outcrop 2). The lower rock strata were not quarried and make a prominent bench below the worked face. In the distance can be seen the shoreward residences of the village and the Conwy Morfa at mid-tide. Anglesey makes up the horizon. One of my assistants has found a bone discarded by another dog, and is enjoying a good gnaw.
