The Queen's Passage is a path linking Pump Green (see TL3762 : Pump Green in the spring) on High Street to this entry on Pettit's Lane. It runs for about 120 yards between the gardens of High Street & Cotton's Field. It is so-called because the house glimpsed behind the lilac blossom, now Jasmine House, was at one time the Queen's Head, one of 6 public houses that existed in the village pre-WW1.
