The West Gateway
The West Gateway
Leigh Court was a country estate for quite some time before being handed over to various agencies. Part of the original design was this imposing archway, designed by Thomas Hopper in an unusually severe Greek Revival style. Built in 1814, it no longer serves it original purpose as the entrances have been moved. Grade II listed.
