Life of the Wood Ant
Life of the Wood Ant
On our first visits, many years ago, to Yarner Wood's field museum, which is tucked away at the northern side of the nature reserve but is on the main nature trail, wood ants had appropriately colonised the open-fronted building and built a nest in it. They have moved on, but the exhibits remain pretty much the same.
