TQ0466 : Bridge over the River Bourne in Chertsey
taken 16 years ago, near to Chertsey, Surrey, England
Bridge over the River Bourne in Chertsey
There are 2 rivers with the name River Bourne in Surrey. The one in this photograph has its source in Windsor Great Park. It then joins the other River Bourne in Weybridge and flows into the River Thames at Shepperton Lock.
The bridge looks like a footbridge, but cars actually use it to get to the back of Chertsey library.
The photographer was standing with the library behind her, facing the River Bourne Health Club which can be seen through the trees.
